Chris Lewellen
– Multi-Million Dollar Producer
Chris Lewellen is The Rich Company Bath
Branch Office’s recipient of the Top Performance Award for 2007-2009. This award
is given to the agent for #1 Sales Volume. He has received this award for the
last three years.
In 2009 Lewellen was appointed as Broker-in-Charge of the Bath Branch office.
Also in 2008/2009, Chris was elected by the WBCBR to serve as chair on Board of
Directors. In his first year he received the 2006 Rookie of the Year awards as
presented by Washington Beaufort County Board of Realtors and the Rich Company
Bath Branch Office.
Lewellen has consistently been a multi-million dollar producer every year since
becoming a broker in 2006. In this short time Chris has advanced rapidly.
Prior to The Rich Company, Lewellen worked in the construction field for over
twelve years on almost every aspect from new construction to total renovation.
Lewellen has bought, renovated, and resold many properties and is very
knowledgeable in real estate investments.
Lewellen was quoted as saying, “My success is solely based upon developing a
friendship along with every business relationship everyone I work with, and
always try to put their interests first."
He is a native of Beaufort County and a member of the WBCBR, NCAR and NAR.
Lewellen has a degree in Economics with a Business minor from East Carolina
University. He is an active alumnus of East Carolina University and is a Notary

Bob Gibbons – Million Dollar Producer
Bob joined the Rich Company Bath Branch
Office in 2007 and was "Rookie of the Year". He moved here from Florida, where
he was Loan Officer with Transcontinental Lending Group and co-owner of a TLG
branch. Most of Bob's career was with the Bell Telephone system: NYNEX,
Bell-Atlantic and Verizon, as National Accounts Sales in New York, then Branch
Manager in Massachusetts. Recalling summers on his great-grandfather's dairy
farm in Nova Scotia, in 1997-2001, Bob invented and patented the "Tructor"
Combination Tractor-Dumptruck Vehicle, which won national awards from American
Society of Agricultural Engineers (ASAE), and was featured at National Farm
Equipment Shows in Louisville KY. A graduate of UMass/Amherst with M.A. from
Univ. of Penn/Wharton, Bob served as Rear Commodore of the Washington Yacht &
Country Club, and is a member of the Washington Beaufort County Board of
Realtors® and is a Realtor member of NCAR and NAR.

Brenda Respess – Multi-Million Dollar Producer
Brenda is a
native of Beaufort County and has been in the real estate business
since 2004. She has served terms on the Beaufort-Hyde-Martin
Regional Library Board and Beaufort County Arts Council Board as
well as served two terms as Commissioner for the Town of Pantego. Brenda believes success is attributed to maintaining close contact
with her clients, paying close attention to details and ensuring
every real estate transaction is a positive one. She is a broker
and is a member of Washington Beaufort County Board of Realtors®, NCAR and NAR.

Patty Selby – Multi-Million Dollar Producer
Patty has been active in the real estate business since 1999. A native of
Beaufort County, she lived and worked in the Washington area until 1995, when
she moved to Bath. In 2004, she became a Real Estate Broker. Patty completed the
Top Gun Academy, offered through a nationwide franchise, in 2006, where she was
presented the Top Listing Agent award. In February 2007, Patty completed her
Broker in Charge Course and holds an active Broker in Charge License. Also in
2007, she attended the Professional Standards Seminar and is a member of the
ethics committee with her local board. Along with being a member of the NCAR and
NAR, Patty is a member of the Washington-Beaufort County Board of Realtors,
where she is the Awards Committee Chairperson and in 2007, received Committee
Chairperson of the Year. Patty is a member of the Washington Beaufort County
Chamber of Commerce, Bath Business Alliance and she is a Notary Public. Before
becoming a Realtor/Broker full time, she worked at Bank of America and as a
legal secretary for a real estate closing attorney. She has experience and
knowledge in all the key areas of a real estate transaction, which creates
